Palm Beach County, Florida — As a Jet Blue employee was moving a load of luggage at the Palm Beach International Airport he heard what appeared to be a buzzing noise.
The area was shut down and all emergency personnel was dispatched, including the Palm Beach County sheriff’s Bomb and Arson Unit.
All bags were checked and cleared.
The third floor was reopened and the airport has gone back to business as usual.
Officials said the buzzing noise was coming from a battery-operated “personal item” that belonged to a female traveler.
Turns out that the woman’s vibrator had somehow turned on and caused part of the airport to be shut down.
The Palm Beach County sheriff’s Bomb and Arson Unit said that, in the end, it wasn’t a big deal, but the woman was embarrassed.
