Jim Acosta, the liberal CNN reporter who exchanged words with President Donald Trump Wednesday, November 7, and seemingly put his hands on a White House intern as she attempted to take the microphone from Acosta, has had his press credentials suspended.
President Trump made the announcement just hours after the incident with Acosta.
During a press conference, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said the suspension of his press credentials were due to Acosta “placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.” Sanders said the behavior was “absolutely unacceptable.”
CNN said in a statement, “This President’s ongoing attacks on the press have gone too far. They are not only dangerous, they are disturbingly un-American.”
