Gut-wrenching video: Stepdad, son describe Thousand Oaks mass shooting

A stepfather and his stepson spoke to an ABC reporter and recalled the horrifying moment an ex-marine allegedly suffering from PTSD opened fire at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California.

Witness John Hedge was talking to his stepfather, Tim, when he heard gunshots. He said the security guard at the front of the entrance went down but was not sure if he was dead.

According to officials, the shooting happened around 11:20 p.m. at the Borderline Bar & Grill.
