Ocasio-Cortez accused of fabricating story about Border Patrol detention facility

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, says that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has been less than honest about her recent visit to a border detention facility.

Following her visit, Ocasio-Cortez told a news station that she was harassed and that women were being forced to drink from toilets.

She also alleges that those being detained do not receive the basic essentials such as feminine hygiene products or a toothbrush.

Crenshaw says that Ocasio-Cortez is getting bolder with her lies.

When asked for proof, Ocasio-Cortez could not provide any evidence to back up her claims.

Crenshaw told Fox News that Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, — who recorded video from inside the facility the lawmakers visited — should offer to allow the illegal immigrants to live in their homes instead of lamenting conditions at the border.

Ocasio-Cortez also refused to discuss the number of illegal immigrants trying to jump the border on a daily basis as well as the criminal element illegal border crossing brings.

Officials say a large number of those attempting to cross the border are violent criminals.

Ocasio-Cortez does not want to discuss this or offer up a solution because she and Castro want open borders, according to officials.

Not one person has corroborated Ocasio-Cortez’s story.

Border Patrol agents fired back at AOC Wednesday with a video from inside the detention facility.
